My editor was worried it was starting to look like I have a personal vendetta against Phill Kline, so we didn't run this. But it's not my fault the fucker puts himself in the news on a weekly basis. Plus, I reeeeeeeeally thought I came up with some funny shit here. I mean, him bustin' up a "cockfighting ring" dressed inside a giant chicken costume?! Pure comedic GOLD!!!

Went to see the Dark Knight last night. It is bad ass. Ironically, the movie is best whenever Batman isn't on screen. Two-Face was great. And the new Joker is fantastic. And so here's this week's Preview cover.

ok, good deal. The best part of Screamland 5 is that we finally got to do some crazy monster action.
And drawing monsters doing monstrous things is a blast.

Here are pencils to inks to colors of one of my favorite parts of the comic. Also, a perfect example of why I'd have a really hard time working with an inker. My pencils are done in color pencil, and they are as rough as you can get. It's all in my head, and so much of it is done directly at the inking and/or coloring stage. Can you dig it?

I got some emails for this one. Some enjoyed it, others hated it...but hey, at least they're noticing it...right?!

(also, the one that ran didn't include the bit of text at the bottom and changed the shirt to read, "This Place Sucks" instead, because profanity isn't allowed into the Power & Light District either...)
