Mustache or not Cesar Romero was by far the best Joker. In fact, say what you will about the campy 60s show, but as far as casting villians, none of the big name movie stars phoning it in for the films hold a candle to the likes of Romero, Burgess Meredith, Frank Gorshin and Julie Newmar. Also, Batdance was awsome.
You're a damn fool.Heath Ledger owns the role. I know you're not big on "Summer Blockbusters" but Incredible Hulk, The Dark Knight ain't. He's going to in the very least earn an Oscar nomination, and it has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he died. His performance is just that fucking fantastic.Did you even watch Batman Begins? Christopher Nolan doesn't allow anyone to "phone it in" in any of his films...even the ones about men dressing up in giant bat costumes.
Have the old batman episodes been put out on dvd or anything. I haven't seen them since I was maybe 5. I hate it that people are saying that Ledger's death will be the only reason he would get an Oscar nom. I thought it was amazing and if he were to receive a nomination, there will be kind of like an asterisk next to his name. bs
