If you don't have Photoshop or similar expensive software, you could use GIMP (which is free) to punch up the color and do justice to the original. By the way- nice.
go under Menu>Image>Adjust>Variations. That's the easiest way to punch up (or subdue) colors. Though if you want more specific tweaks, Replace Color, Curves, Levels and Adjust Hue/Saturation. It's not too hard, I could give you a color crash course in 30 minutes.

Thanks, Alex. I do, I use it to color my comics. I just don't have alot of experence with tweeking scanned stuff that's already in color.
