KC star illustration process
So I have been working like a madman, mostly on design stuff, but a little illustration here and there... Thisis the last piece I did for the Star. I thought it would be neat to post all the stages, from sketch to printed page...

tight as always, H. Was there an ink stage also, or are you taking your pencils straight into illustrator these days?
nope nope, scanned the sketches and this time I "inked" it in Painter. Then colored in Painter and Photoshop.
Beautiful work. I really admired this in the paper. Sometimes you make me want to out the page of newsprint and frame it...
I mean, "tear out the page"... I can't type...
