FOXYMORON 6.7.07

The beginning of the end. After June the Preview comics are no more. Except for Josh's drugged out craziness. Those will run until he "Brian Wilson's" on us and moves into a cabin in the middle of fucking nowhere.

David Frese works as the FYI editor now.

You shouldn't judge all TV by the shit they put on in the Summer...

How the hell would you have such a hard-on for the Transformers if it wasn't for the awesomeness of TV?!

It's a sad day for Kansas City comics. Still, it was incredibly awesome while it lasted, and amazing that it lasted as long as it did. Having my cartoons published in the kansas city star was seriously my life long dream. I'll always be grateful to David Frese for giving me and so many others that opportunity.

does df read this blog? is that why daniel is brown nosing it so hard? dave, you there? yes, the preview comics section was fantastic. it was a bold, intrepid move on the star's part. and most of the time, kc comics creators delivered the goods. preview really kicked ass with that. can you imagine of other cities did that ss well? we might actually have a well supported comics scene, region by region. keeping the rgional culture alive, with its particular nuances and subtleties. the star did a lot to put comics on the map, at least to its 300K readers...

now can i have my job back?
